June 2008...Stay-cation

New living room furniture, replacement of a concrete walkway with a stone walkway, resurfacing the steps. Hmmm, about the same amount of dough we spent last year traveling up and down the East Coast, but on home improvements instead.

For July 4, we stayed in Cambridge at the Royal Sonesta, had a fancy schmancy dinner, and watched the fireworks from the street, then walked back in and retired to our room. We even took the MBTA subway to get there, can't get much more local than that.

June does bring the start of our annual CSA. Can't beat locally grown!

We're enjoying our patio, just had the old concrete walkway replaced with brick that matches the patio, and had the steps resurfaced.
