Long weekend in NYC. Took the slow route down; caught the car ferry from New London CT to Orient Point NY, visited a couple of wineries on the North Fork, http://www.shinnestatevineyards.com/ and http://www.bedellcellars.com/.

it's like we're going to Mexico tonight

Water main break on an aqueduct that brings water to Boston, so there's a state of emergency telling everyone to boil their water before drinking it, brushing your teeth, etc. Going out for Mexican food tonight with some friends (in an area not impacted by the break). Hey, it's like we're going to Mexico tonight!!
