Spent a couple of days a the Stonehedge Inn in Tyngsboroh MA (about an hour north of Boston). Nice guestroom with a jacuzzi bath, a spa with an indoor pool, and a really good restaurant all in one place. Arrived Thursday evening, had a nice dinner with a 1997 Maison Bigot & Alex Gambal "Clos des Avaux" from Beune. Got massages and sat by the pool Friday during the day, relaxed in our room then had a 1998 Bonny Doon "Le Cigare Volante" meritage with dinner.
Saturday we headed up to Kennebunkport Maine for a nice stay at the Maine Stay Inn. Another room with a jacuzzi tub (see a theme here?). On the way up we ate a late lunch the Maine Diner, then went back for dinner...I think we had our quota of prepared lobster for the month.
