We arrived in the park about 5:00 PM, checked into the Maswik lodge, and caught the last bus out to watch the sunset.   We ate breakfasts and one dinner at the El Tovar, that was very nice.  Portions there are huge, they must think you've just hiked up the canyon and are really hungry.
